Headache does not necessarily refer to the CT
Sixth people's hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University Neurology Sun xiaojiang Xu Dan headache is one of the most common symptom of Neurology, but not all patients need row CT examination. Under normal circumstances, doctors by asking the history and physical examination of the nervous system, basic can judge the types of headaches and there is no possibility of organic disease. But in the following circumstances must be done in patients with head CT examination: 1. migraine headache is continuing to increase and intense. 2. headache accompanied by extremity numbness and weakness, diplopia, mumble, and ataxia (refers to action coordination), involuntary movements, and other neurologic symptoms. 3. need for symptoms of paralysis of cranial nerves or optic disc edema. 4. sudden headaches and nervous system of the elderly missing signs, suspected cerebral vascular accident. 5. neck sudden severe headache with ankylosing suspected subarachnoid hemorrhage may, if necessary, also lumbar puncture and angiography (CTA/DSA) check.
